Louisville Collab with Coexvst & Prima Pietra.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you actually met the people you follow on Instagram? Well I have, and did. At the beginning of this month I, along with my friend Christopher Pereira, joined our church for the annual Fine Arts Festival. We decided since we would have some down time to not only check out all the cool coffee/tea shops around, but to link up with a local creative. We discovered Sydney, https://www.instagram.com/coexvst and decided to meet up at Hillbilly Tea https://www.instagram.com/hillbillytea (which soon became our favorite hang out spot in Louisville, Kentucky).
If I'm being honest, I was super nervous before meeting her, since we didn't really know each other, but also extremely excited to meet someone I didn't know. It also helped that Chris orchestrated it all and wasn't scared to meet someone new. Once we met up, it was like we had been friends forever. We sipped on some tea and walked outside and shot some photos. We had such a great time, so I thought I'd share some of my favorite shots with you guys. Be sure to check out Sydney and Chris' page for more photos and creative projects.
I love how all of these shots came out and so happy to have a new friend, Sydney. I love meeting new people no matter how scary or nerve wrecking it can be. My summer has been filled with it's up's and down's but one of my goals was to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people. With that being said, if you're a local blogger or just find yourself to be the creative type looking to make new connections, well SO AM I! Some might see that as a pathetic cry for friendships (and it might be, I haven't figured it out), but I see it as a need. Creatives need to link up to other creatives. We need that connection, friendship, and sense of understanding from one another in order to stay passionate about what we do. That's it for today.
