The Red Scarf. Ft. Jord Watches

Hello and Happy Monday. It's another week which means you have another seven days to do great things. Anyone have New Year's resolutions? Usually people think of that before the year starts, but this year I'm going to take the full month of January to really think about what I want to accomplish this year and specific things I want to become. One of them is to take my blog more seriously and work harder at creating content consistently. I think that was something I really lacked in 2016 which in turn lead to a lot of days where I had nothing to post or I just didn't have any inspiration. This year, that's going to change. If you have any fun New Year's Resolutions, share them with me here or on my social media. I would love to hear them!

Anyway, today's post is all about this funky, tomboy outfit I put together. I recently picked up this cute scarf from Avalon Exchange, if you have never been there before, you need to check them out. I am aiming to be more daring in my style this year and this is just the start. I wouldn't say this outfit is super daring but it has some funky pieces. For example, these boots! I mean, c'mon. I originally wanted to buy them before my recent trip to New York City (they were $70 from Zara) but a friend talked me out of them. Well, what do you know? They were on sale at Zara in SOHO, NY so of course I couldn't say no this time! I paired the scarf and boots with ripped up jeans from Brandy Melville and this button down shirt from Old Navy.

I was also gifted this beautiful Jord Wooden Watch. This women's watch goes with just about everything, even this ultra, edgy look. What I love most about this watch is just how lightweight and comfortable it is to wear. Sometimes watches can be super bulky and weigh your wrist down. I love the zebra wood and the gold face. Gives the classic watch a fun touch. Check out this exact watch here and many more styles.
